With the talented help of Theo Sahli from "Theo's Exotic Auto" here in Orange County, we are restoring a Fiat 500 Abarth.

Theo is the "go to" guy, for early Ferrari, Alfa, and Fiat cars. He has sourced all correct NOS Abarth items for the car, including his built up 700cc, 75 HP motor. These parts are sourced in Italy from a very small community of Abarth aficionados. Theo knows them all, like we all know the 356 Pre - A guys world wide.

$39,900

I just finished this restoration in summer 2024 and the car is fully sorted.
Not a full on concourse car, but a real head turner and a local car show contender. Correct color white a complete body and paint restoration. I've added my touches which may or may not please. With a very strong Triumph 2500 - 6 with dual Webers. Oil cooler - I set it up as a California driver.

1959 BERKELEY
VIN #349
California plate #9HTP908

PRICE - TBD

I watched these little stormers race in the early 60's at Watkins Glen Raceway in New York State, and I fell in love. Here I am, 60 years later, and I found a car worth restoring.

The model is SE 492, and the motor is an Excelsior TALISMAN 3 - cylinder 492 cc. The "Big" motor.
Four forward speeds with reverse. Gated shifter and bomber seats.
My restoration is to make a "Boy Racer" street legal.
